Have you ever noticed that you can’t get what you want if you only talk about and think about what you don’t want? It’s time for a mindset shift!
Let’s reflect on those moments when you think, “This is wrong, this is wrong, I hope this doesn’t happen.” We all do it, right? But what if, instead, we focused on what we do want? Those thoughts about what you don’t want are reflecting who you think you are. The good news? You have the power to rewire that.
Join me in this journey as we discuss making habits stick, contrary to what you might have read in “Atomic Habits,” a fantastic book. We’re delving into the importance of identity in the habits you’re trying to adopt. Remember, to change your actions, you must change how you think of yourself.
I’m sharing a valuable life truth from “The Power to Change” by Craig Groeschel: “To change what you do, first, you need to change the way you think of yourself.”
Powerful, right?
It’s like pulling up weeds without getting to the root if you try to change your behavior without changing your identity.
But here’s the kicker – who you listen to shapes your who. Surround yourself with people who uplift, encourage, and see the possibilities. If your environment is filled with negativity and lacks abundance, it’s time to make a change. The people around you shape who you are, so choose wisely.
I challenge you to believe in yourself. You can achieve whatever you set your mind to. Someone, somewhere, has done what you’re aspiring to do in a similar situation. So, it’s not just possible; it’s probable. Visualize the person you want to become, write it down, and make it happen.
